The case on persecution
In early March 2012 the international community placed high expectations on Kazakhstan. But the situation began to change dramatically after the prominent opposition leaders
NHC: ‘Opposition Alga party leader Vladimir Kozlov is still imprisoned along with several labour activists from Western Kazakhstan, and there are still limitations on the freedom of assembly and of expression.’
