Volunteers and staff from the Open Dialogue Foundation meet dozens of people every day who are fleeing the hell of war and their stories. The war in Ukraine continues, and in search of shelter, safety and a chance of survival for themselves and their loved ones, our guests decide to embark on a gruelling and dangerous journey of several days, under a hail of bullets, with numerous roadblocks by the occupying forces along the way, where any such situation could become tragic in its consequences. The Open Dialogue Foundation, at the request of Onet’s correspondent in Ukraine Marcin Wyrwał, is running a fundraising to buy a pickup truck for Ukrainian drone operators. The entire amount for the vehicle has already been raised, but the fundraising is still ongoing to be able to fund a drone and other necessary equipment for the battalion from near Slovyansk in the Donbass.

The Open Dialogue Foundation has created the House for Independent Mothers near Warsaw. This is the first place of its kind in Poland. It was created by, among others, Agata Dziopa, a volunteer helping refugees at the Warsaw train station. A single-family house in the countryside is inhabited by Ukrainian women with children.
