The Open Dialogue Foundation (ODF) is a non-governmental, non-partisan organization established in Poland, in 2009. The statutory objectives of the Foundation include promotion, support and protection of human rights, democracy and rule of law in the post-Soviet area.

In his letter to President of France, Francois Hollande, Member of the Polish Parliament, Tomasz Makowski, called for “a large measure of self-control in cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan until the country steps onto the path of respect for human rights and democratic change”.

Askar Aidarkhan – son of the incarcerated poet and civil activist, Aron Atabek, and Ekaterina Kuramshina – the wife of Vadim Kuramshin, human rights activist sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment, met in Warsaw with Polish MPs in late September and early October.

Polish and Ukrainian MPs and human rights activists were not allowed to enter the Voronezh prison, where the Ukrainian army officer, Nadiya Savchenko, is being held.
