On the 7th October, the date of Vladimir Putin’s birthday, the Euromaidan-Warszawa Foundation organised a silent protest by the Russian Embassy and its participants brought portraits of victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The fighting between Ukrainian soldiers and separatists in the east of the country and anti-governmental protests on the Maidan – these and other developments were recorded by the Ukrainian photographer Viktor Gurniak.

Forbes has written about the exhibition organised by the Open Dialogue Foundation. In front of the University of Warsaw, on Krakowskie Przedmieście, until 8th December, photographs by the Ukrainian photographer Viktor Gurniaka can be viewed. Gurniak documented, amongst other things, the fighting in th
