A firm believer in European values, Loredana recently graduated with a Master of Arts degree in European Public Affairs at Maastricht University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies with a specialisation in EU’s foreign affairs.
Loredana started as an advocacy intern at the Brussels Office in March 2020, and now she is a full-time member of the team. Her main fields of interest are EU external relations, with a focus on its eastern neighbours, and the external dimension of the EU Energy Policy. She believes that the EU neighbourhood countries are in an urgent need for reforms as well as democracy assistance, and she wants to direct her work towards supporting this process. By combining her quality studies in EU policy-making with her personal and cultural background from Moldova, she is also helping the Foundation to reach its goals in this country.
When she is out of the office, Loredana is discovering new cities, reading or cooking. Being an art lover, she enjoys attending cultural exhibitions, going to the theatre and visiting museums.
