Master’s degree in diplomacy and foreign relations from Camilo José Cela University in Madrid. Initially worked in the Polish MFA and EU institutions, then in an American law firm and pro-European NGOs. He founded the international Committee for the Defence of Democracy (KOD International) and launched the EU DisinfoLab (first European organisation committed strictly to countering disinformation). Brussels correspondent for the “Gazeta Wyborcza” daily for 2 years. In the Foundation he manages public affairs and communications, as well as oversees our Brussels office.
Privately Martin is an avid political commentator, writing for publications such as EU Observer, Politico Europe, EurActiv or The Next Web. Author of the “Survival Guide to Authoritarianism”, which a 15-part web series was based on. Rock climber, skier and classic sci-fi fan.
